Powai Police’s Top Cop Addresses Residents Amidst Shutdown

Amidst the 21 day nationwide lockdown announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in order to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in the country, Senior Police Inspector of Powai Police station (Sr.PI) Sudhakar Kamble has issued a public service advisory for the residents of Powai to remain positive in these testing times. Speaking to ‘The Watchdog News’ Powai Police Stations top cop said,

“COVID-19 is a deadly disease and must be contained and eradicated immediately. Residents have shown great restraint and have largely adhered to the rules imposed by the state. However, if anyone experiences any medical discomfort or suspects any medical ailment then they should even hesitate to contact the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).”

The senior police official went on to say “I appeal to all the respectable residents of Powai to comply to the governments instructions and to cooperate with the Police, BMC, Healthcare workers and all other front-line services combating this global pandemic! Together we will see these tough times through and emerge victorious! Jai Hind! Jai Bharat!”
